Countdown to the Harvest Festival & Livestock Show

Providing scholarships to youth from our area has been the driving force for the Harvest Festival and Livestock Show. Our livestock show in the fall and our crawfish boil in the spring raise funds to support our scholarship program. In addition, generous individuals over the years have funded educational scholarships over the years through the Harvest Festival.

We have now awarded over 100 scholarships to deserving youth in our five county area.

Our organization is dedicated to helping the youth of our area continue their education through livestock, ag mechanic, and home economic projects. This has been made possible by the dedication and support of a lot of people and exhibitors from our five county area over the years.

The three days of competition will culminate in the Harvest Festival Sale on Saturday at the Fair Grounds Exhibit Building. The money received for the projects are returned to the owners of the animals and projects. They invest in projects for the next year, as well as set aside money for savings and college.

We thank you for your continued support and invite you to join the Board of Directors and all the committees as we work to encourage and support our youth who are involved in agriculture.
